Hey hey, all! Happy new year! I hope you all had a good holiday season and aren't feeling too much like you need another holiday already (when is the next one, anyway?), I'm here with an important update/blog that I've mirrored over on my Patreon!

Firstly, I'm going to be changing the way LIES WITHIN updates going forward. If you're a Patron, you may have noticed that I do not have any early pages over there. I've been focused mainly on pet commissions over the past two months and because of that, work on pages has gone slowly. The cost of living has risen for all of us and I have had my sticker shop closed for most of the last year due to postal strikes, meaning I've had to take on a lot more pet commission work than I previously have had to do. I don't believe I'm able to continue a weekly update schedule like I used to, and I want to change that up to allow me room to take on more paying work and Patreon exclusives as I complete pages at a slower rate.

Also: after this chapter completes, I'm not quite sure where the story is going! I finished writing it ages ago, but I've changed and grown as a writer and there are a half dozen alternate endings rattling around in my head now, and I need to take a bit of time to figure out what exactly I want to happen next.

Pages will continue to be posted privately for Patrons as soon as I finish them, and will release at the end of each month on the site here in batches of however many pages I have complete in that month. Whether that's 1 page or 4 pages, they'll all drop publicly on the same day.

As for other news, I will be gathering together a couple of adult sketchbooks to release on Patreon and on my itch dot io of previous artworks that have been exclusive to Patreon for years now, as well as working on getting my sticker shop back open. I'll also be opening my character commission form again for the first time in a couple of years, which is very exciting to me. More info on that will be up on my socials tomorrow.
